Why isn't wellness working?

The Conference Board just shared some research that answers that question. (see comments for data)

We invest in our priorities. We spend time on what matters to us. Most organizations do not have a real talent strategy and devote scant resources to their greatest asset: their people.

For most companies, labor is their largest single cost. But compensation and people investment hasn't advanced since Henry Ford proved the value of higher wages and shorter work days.

It's time to rethink what it means to invest in people.
